Tropical Conservation & Development Program
UF Center for Latin American Studies
Tropilunch is a weekly seminar run by graduate students from the Tropical Conservation and Development (TCD) Program. It provides a forum for discussions and presentations related to TCD student and faculty work and research. Students are provided an opportunity to present and discuss their research projects with peers and faculty. In addition, discussion sessions on issues of current interest are also held. TCD Alumni, visiting scholars, and conservation practitioners also participate.
Tropilunch happens every Tuesday at 12:45 to 1:45 pm in Grinter Hall 376 or via this Zoom link (updated fall 2025). You can find previously recorded presentations on the TCD Youtube channel.
If you have any questions, please email any of Fall 2025 Tropilunch organizers: Henrique Shirai, Oniel Alvarez and Hernan Alvarez.http://uftcd.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Tropilunch-Announcement-Fall-2025.pdf
