| Taste of the Tropics 2024 TCD Student Group Annual Fundraiser When: Sunday, April 28th Time: 3:00-6:00 pm Where: 3440 NW 27th Place, Gainesville FL Home of Bette Loiselle and John Blake Bring a dish and get free entry!! Please sign up for the competition: We need lots of cooks to compete for great prizes. Cooks get free entry and a chance to prove their food is the best. We have five exciting categories- Drinks (non-alcoholic)! Starters (Veg and Nonveg)! Mains (Veg and Nonveg!) and Desserts! Sign up here: 2024 Taste of the Tropics Cooking Signup Buy tickets early for a discount: You can now purchase your entry tickets at a discounted price ($8). Once you send 8 dollars to the TCDsg Venmo account (@Lydia-Soifer), please keep a picture of your payment receipt as your record. The entry price at the gate is $10. Please also consider donating prizes for the contest winners – small souvenirs that you may have from your country, field site, or any small gift that you want to donate to your favorite student group. Prize donors will get free entry. Sign up for volunteering: We will need help cleaning up and setting up one hour before and one hour after the event. Volunteers get free entrance.
