Dear TCD Community,
We’re thrilled to invite you to “Amazonian Dialogues,” a new remote speaker series that’s part of TCD’s exciting new project on Amazonian Conservation. This semester, we’re hosting engaging presentations by invited speakers every other Wednesday, and these sessions are open to the entire TCD community.
Our first session kicks off this Wednesday, January 22, featuring Dr. Marlene Soriano, a TCD alumna and Director of the Inclusive Socioeconomic Development Program at the Bolivian Institute of Forestry Research (IBIF). Dr. Soriano will share insights from her work on empowering Indigenous and local communities in forest resource management:
“Collaborative initiatives for achieving gender and youth integration in community forestry and Indigenous territorial governance in Bolivian Lowlands”.
Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Time: Morning session (see flyer below for details)

We hope you’ll join us for these inspiring and thought-provoking dialogues. Looking forward to seeing you there!
