TCD alumna publishes research on Evaluating biodiversity workshops & promoting conservation in Chile

Hot off the press! “Evaluating biodiversity workshops in Chile: are farmers responding with conservation action? just published in Environmental Education Research. #MarcelaMarquez received her PhD from UF IFAS Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and is part of the @TCD_UF community – in fact former President of the TCDsg ! Congratulations Marcela, Susan and Olga! 

Marcela Marquez, a 2017 UF & TCD alumna, just published the paper “Wine with a Bouquet of Biodiversity: Assessing Agricultural Adoption of Conservation Practices in Chile“ in Environmental Conservation.  Her co-authors are TCD affiliate faculty in UF’s Wildlife Ecology & Conservation and TCD alumna Olga Barbosa from Instituto de Ecologia y Biodiversidad in Chile. The paper is a result of Marcela’s PhD dissertation research funded by a TCD Field Research Grant.
